<p>A Victorian oak cased aneroid barometer with geometric border design c.1880. The turned solid oak case with hanging loop to the top and carved geometric decoration. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with weather predictions in red and black ornate lettering to the outer edge.  The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.5" diameter overall x 4.5" diameter dial x 1.75" deep. Stock number 42372.</p>
