<p>A Victorian oak cased aneroid barometer with geometric border design c.1880. The turned solid oak case with hanging loop to the top and lightly carved geometric decoration. Aneroid movement sat behind a white porcelain dial with stylised letters to the weather predictions and central motif. The dial sat behind a glazed view window mounted in a polished brass bezel with centre reading marker. Superb quality and original condition, fully serviced and working. Measures 9.5" diameter overall x 5" diameter dial x 2.25" deep. Stock number 42958.</p>
