Moulded edge mahogany surround to the dial with matching back box, access door to the base and side. Original painted dial with Roman numerals along with the makers name, 'J W Benson, London' and blued steel hands.  The dial set behind a glazed viewing window, which is mounted in a hinged opening polished brass bezel. The 8 day movement with anchor escapement, fully serviced and working. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine to the case. Measures 14.5" diameter x 12" dial x 5.75" deep. Stock number 42169.</p>
