Porcelain convex dial sat behind a bevel edge convex glass mounted in a polished brass bezel. 8 Day French movement with platform escapement in full working order. Fine fruitwood foliage inlay to the front of the shaped figured mahogany case, curled ears to the top, complete with brass finial. Moulded edge base, standing on brass bun feet. Polished mahogany back with hinged brass door to access the movement. Superb colour, condition and patina. Measures 5.5" wide x 3.5" deep x 11.5" high to the top of the finial. Stock number 38536.</p>
