The close deep hand knotted fine pile with rich red background, medallion to the centre and leaf and floral design sprays repeated around the medallion in champagne creams, fawns and blues. Border towards the outer edge with dark blue background and repeat geometric design decoration; the design typical of the Hamadan area of Persia.
