<p>An Edwardian mahogany cased 8 day single fusse Southern Railways English dial clock with 8" dial, fully restored and working c.1910. Moulded mahogany surround to the dial with matching back box, access door to the base and the side. The original unrestored painted dial with Roman numerals, marked S R for Southern Railways along with serial number below. Hinged brass bezel with glazed view window forming the dial door. The 8 day movement with anchor escapement and wire drive to the fusse, serial number to the backplate. Serial number to the rear of the case to match the number on the dial. A difficult to find item, presented in excellent condition, the movement fully overhauled and working. Measures 11" diameter x 8" dial x 5.25" deep. Stock number 42721.</p>
