<p>A top quality late Victorian mahogany cased miniature longcase clock with inlaid casework and silvered dial, plus French 8 day movement c.1890. The figured mahogany case with swan neck pediment to the top, inlaid decoration sat to the corners of the dial and complementing inlays to the trunk and base, each with a sunburst set to the centre. Turned silvered dial with engraved Roman numerals and blued steel hands, sat behind a beveled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel. 8 day French movement with platform escapement accessed from the rear and sat behind a hinged door. Superbly detailed throughout and presented in immaculate condition, the movement fully overhauled and working.  Measures 4" wide x 3" deep x 15.5" high. Stock number 42314.</p>
