<p>A fine quality and large heavy quality solid silver casket by Hanau silver maker Neresheimer weighing in at 1115 grams, hallmarked Chester 1901. Superbly made out of thick gauge silver, the domed hinged lid decorated with embossed decoration depicting a Goddess in flowing gown with cherubs either side in the Art Nouveau style. The sides of the base section with complementing embossed flowing flower decoration, the front with a mask forming the lock escutcheon. The hinged lid with locking hinges opening to reveal a gilt lined interior; working lock and key.
