Broad ring turned foot with rich ebonised finish, baluster column above rising to meet the cast polished brass axis, which is supporting the globe. The revolving 6" papier mache globe in superb clear condition, bears the makers label for George Philips & Sons, Fleet Street, London. Presented in excellent original undamaged condition with an excellent patina. Measures 6.75" wide overall including axis with a 6" globe diameter x 4.75" diameter at the base x 11.75" high. Stock number 42871.</p>
