<p>A George V period engraved solid silver purse with tan leather interior in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1918. The small ladies purse fashioned in the style of a leather purse with bulbous sides and crisp engraved decoration to both sides; blank heart shaped cartouche to the front. Clasp to the top and original matching hanging chain with finger loop to the centre. The hinged purse opening to reveal an original tan leather interior with divisions for holding coins or small notes. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths F D Long along with clear hallmarks to all sections.
