RARE JAPANESE NOH MASK NETSUKE, EDO PERIOD, BOVINE BONE CARVED & FRAME MOUNTED.Item: Rare Edo Period (1603 - 1868) Japanese Carved Netsuke.
Description: Someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to display this wonderful antique netsuke. It is mounted on velvet and framed in an ornate gilt-metal frame which probably dates to the early 20thC. The piece itself is earlier, probably around 1800 - 1850. Nicely carved and with a wonderful old patina.
Measurements: Width 71mm. Height 71mm (frame).
Condition Report: Age related crazing, otherwise fine.
