An attractive Mid 19th Century Antique Victorian
Blue and White Transfer Serving Dish by John
Davenport of Longport, Staffordshire, printed in a
medium blue palette, and impress marked upon the
underside with the factory code for 1860. Quite
honestly, we would have thought this piece to be
one of the "Scott's Illustrations" series, but
unfortunately, the border doesn't match; so, for
the moment we have to say, "Unidentified View".
All constructive comments and suggestions welcome.
Printed as well as impressed Maker's marks to
underside. Height : 10.00 inches : Width : 13.00
