Onion Bottle ca.1725
Early 18th century English onion bottle designed for wine and often used at sea where the shape of the vessel made it more stable. The bottle is made of rich, amber/green glass with a deep set base and a well-preserved string rim. Surface chips and scratches are consistent with a bottle that is almost 300 years old. Item No. C9015.
