Superb Regency Brass Inlaid London Bracket ClockA Superb Regency period flame mahogany and brass inlaid double fuse bracket clock.c.1820. Original enamel dial with strike silent facility and regulator to the top arch. Maker's name, (James) McCabe and Sons of Royal Exchange, London(w.1811-32). 8 day chain driven movement, striking on a bell to the hour. Superb canted corner arched top flame veneered case with brass inlaid decoration. Ebony trim to the base. Gilt brass fretwork gallery and carry handles to the sides Standing on brass bun feet. Engraved backplate with maker's name. Superb flame veneers. Full working order. Measures 14" x 8.5"deep x 19"high.
